Dr Anna Jones
Anna works as a Research Associate in HEPSU. Anna's first degree was in Industrial Design, which she followed with an MSc in Ergonomics. Since completing the MSc Anna has been working in the Healthcare Ergonomics field, in particular the ambulance sector - her PhD is based on evaluating manual handling equipment used in the ambulance service. HEPSU is based within the Department of Human Sciences, Loughborough University. Our mission is to carry out high quality, international research to support the development of safe and efficient
working systems, products and environments for healthcare workers and patients.
Established in 2004, HEPSU provides a focus for a wide range of expertise including physical ergonomics, product and environmental (vehicle and building) design, sociotechnical systems, and applied physiology. HEPSU enjoys excellent links with other national and international ergonomics, clinical, design and operational management centres. Find out more
