Healthcare Ergonomics and Patient Safety Research Unit (HEPSU)
HEPSU is based within the Department of Human Sciences, Loughborough University. Our mission is to carry out high quality, international research to support the development of safe and efficient
working systems, products and environments for healthcare workers and patients.
Established in 2004, HEPSU provides a focus for a wide range of expertise including physical ergonomics, product and environmental (vehicle and building) design, sociotechnical systems, and applied physiology. HEPSU enjoys excellent links with other national and international ergonomics, clinical, design and operational management centres. Find out more
